This policy explains what we collect when you use fundedjobs.co and why. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run an account-based paid service, we don't sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it.
What we collect
- Account data: email address, name, and sign-in metadata, managed by our authentication provider (Clerk).
- Payment data: payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details; we store only the payment reference, the plan purchased, and its validity period. Dodo is the seller of record for your purchase.
- Newsletter data: your email address and confirmation status if you subscribe to the digest. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of that one fact and nothing else, so that we can honour it permanently and never mail you again by mistake.
- Talent pool data (optional): if you join the talent pool, we store what you type into that form: your name, email, headline, skills, location, whether you want remote only, a profile link, and what you tell us you are looking for. We use it for exactly one thing, pointing a founder at you when a company we track is hiring and you fit. We do not sell it and we do not publish it; only FundedJobs staff can see it. Joining also puts you on the Monday email, which the form says plainly. Email sethu@fundedjobs.co to have your entry deleted and we will remove it within 30 days.
- Usage data: which days a signed-in account is active, used for aggregate product statistics.
- Cookies: a session cookie (authentication), and a small preference cookie that remembers you've already subscribed to the newsletter. No third-party advertising cookies.
How we use it
To provide the service you paid for, deliver emails you asked for (confirmation, the Monday digest), prevent abuse, and understand aggregate usage. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Who processes data for us
Clerk (authentication), Dodo Payments (payments & Merchant of Record), Resend (email delivery), Neon (database hosting), and Vercel (application hosting). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Retention & your rights
Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists and as required for financial record-keeping. Unsubscribing stops the digest immediately. You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data by emailing sethu@fundedjobs.co from the address in question; we respond within 30 days.
Company information on the site
Profiles of companies and their funding events are compiled from public sources and concern businesses, not private individuals. If you represent a company and believe information is inaccurate, contact us and we will review it.
